Born in Benue State, Nigeria and raised in the heart of its vibrant culture, Kingluckystar, whose real name is Idah Alagi Michael, is a rising star in the Nigerian music scene. At 30 years old, Kingluckystar, currently based in Lagos, has carved a unique niche for himself, blending highlife, hip-hop, Afro-pop and traditional sounds, which he describes as “Ogene sounds.” His music is deeply rooted in expressing the feelings and experiences of both himself and the wider world. It’s about connecting with listeners in a personal and meaningful way.

Kingluckystar officially began his musical journey in 2015, but his path to success hasn’t been easy. He acknowledges the struggles of breaking into the competitive Nigerian music industry without substantial backing. However, he credits his persistence, talent, and the support of his fans, along with God’s grace, for propelling him forward.

In addition to his music, Kingluckystar is also a talented chef, specializing in barbecue, showcasing his versatility beyond music. His influence comes from living authentically and leading by example, practicing what he preaches.
