Biography Of Psalmist Sunday

Adariku Sunday Egbodo, popularly known as Psalmist Sunday, is a Nigerian gospel music minister and passionate lover of God, originally from Cross River State. Born in Utukpo Gabu, Yala, he is currently based in Ajah, Lekki, Lagos. At just 26 years old, he has become a vibrant voice in the gospel music scene with a heart for revival and spiritual awakening.

Psalmist Sunday began his music journey in 2018 after a life-changing encounter with Jesus. Though he initially started out as a secular artiste, his divine encounter redirected his purpose entirely. With prayer, passion, and unwavering focus, he now ministers through deeply spiritual and soul-lifting sounds. His genre is strictly gospel, marked by sincerity, depth, and a burning desire to stir hearts toward God.

He is the convener of Awakening Experience, a monthly fellowship that inspires worship, prayer, and the Word. He also leads Awake Nation Interdenominational, a movement aimed at raising a generation of burden bearers for Christ globally.

Psalmist Sunday has released songs like “I Surrender” and “Ololufemi,” and has hosted powerful gatherings such as The Surrender Live Concert 2020 and Awakening Experience Lagos. Currently, he is working on recording new projects while preparing for his album launch.

Outside music, he has a background in real estate consultancy and draws inspiration from mentorship, family, and spiritual role models. His journey into the industry was supported by Regina Adariku, and his sound continues to grow in impact across the gospel landscape.
