Born on December 19, 2002, in Modakeke, Ile Ife, Osun State, Adeyinka Oluwatimileyin Boluwatife, popularly known by his stage name Calderon, is a 23-year-old rising star in the Nigerian music industry. Now based in Ado Ekiti, Calderon discovered his passion for music during his secondary school years in 2016, where he began freestyling. It wasn’t until 2021 that he officially started releasing his music to the world.
Having faced numerous challenges, especially in his younger years, including the loss of both family and friends, Calderon found solace and strength in music. He often reflects on how music became his unwavering companion during tough times, showing him a positive side of life when everything else seemed bleak. Although he has yet to fully experience the stage, Calderon’s dreams remain strong. He prays for the opportunity to perform live and hopes for a sponsor who can help him share his music with a larger audience.
Musically, Calderon is deeply rooted in Afrobeats, a genre he uses to connect with people through simple, yet powerful lyrics that motivate, heal, and inspire. He admires artists like Bella Shmurda, Davido, Olamide, and Wizkid, whose music has influenced his sound. Though he has a wealth of unreleased music, Calderon continues to record and work tirelessly towards his goal of performing at shows. Guided by faith and determination, he continues to believe in his talents and remains committed to his journey in the music industry.
