Shady Hollar – Music Career

Oluwaseun Musa Oladimeji, popularly known by his stage name Shady Hollar, is a Nigerian Afro-pop musician, songwriter, and producer.

Born and raised in Ekiti State, Shady Hollar discovered his passion for music early and began his musical journey in 2013, freestyling with friends before transitioning into studio recordings. Now 33 years old and based in Lagos, his sound is best described as inspirational Afro-pop, deeply rooted in life experiences and shaped by the realities of the world around him.

With no prior career outside the music industry, Shady Hollar’s commitment to his craft is undeniable. His breakthrough came with the support of his brother, Makinde Samuel, who helped him gain his first steps into the industry. Since then, he has carved a unique path with a distinctive musical style that sets him apart from his peers.

Shady Hollar has released several EPs and remixes, showcasing his versatility and ability to connect with listeners through both sound and message. His performances span a variety of clubs and major events, including a memorable appearance at Phyky LS Omokudiratu’s listening party, among others.

Currently, Shady Hollar is focused on recording new music, constantly evolving his sound while staying true to his inspirational roots. Outside the studio, he is also involved in event planning and organizing, further extending his influence within the entertainment scene.
