Danny Roy is a Nigerian vocalist, songwriter, and entrepreneur. He is a melodic songster who infuses R&B elements into basic genres while still projecting his core Gospel sound.

Danny Roy also explores various fields, as he is a writer, public speaker, cosmetic formulator, owning a skin and hair Care Brand (God’s Love Honey Comb) and the owner of a Record Label.Danny Roy’s Background and EducationDanny Roy was born Daniel Kings in Lagos State, Nigeria, He was born into the Kings Family, a Christian Household; His father being a pastor and his mother a teacher of the Gospel. He was born into a family of six, he has three sisters and is the only male child. His state of origin is Delta State, Ika north East Local Government.

He is currently based in Lagos State. For his education, He attended Unique group of Schools for his Nursery and Primary education and Royal Path College for his Secondary School Education He proceeded to study Philosophy at Delta State university, Abraka for his University Education.

<HIS MUSICAL JOURNEY>

His interest in music started from childhood from the age of six, when he began composing music and scoring complex songs. When he clocked fourteen, he had written over sixty songs and performed in front of several gatherings. His undeniable talent singled him out as he began to garner interest locally.

After years of performing in several Churches as a soloist and backing vocalist and also teaching people his melodic compositions, his passion for making music and singing heightened. Through these years, he went through rigorous vocal and music training and then developed his niche.

His love for R&B styled music knew no bounds. As he started pursuing a career in music, He developed a stage name; ‘Danny Roy’.

The name Danny Roy was coined from ‘Daniel Royal’ after a prayer vigil with a Bible Study Leader. In 2017, He released his first studio single, And I Love you, featuring Pastor Charis. The song got a lot of praise and acceptance.

His fan base began to grow and in a fortnight he released his Debut Album; For Love. At this time, he had developed a solid Fan base which he called The Royals.In 2021, He announced that he was working on a sophomore album and released its first single Nani Gi, accompanied by other singles.

In January 2023, He released an official video for his lead single Because of Love which is also the title of the soon-to-be-released album. The song Because of Love has received critical acclaim. It has also gotten over one million streams and downloads in few months of its release.

Late in 2023, Danny Roy used his influential status to launch a foundation to help the needy empower entrepreneurs.
